Safety First!
Would you know what to do if there were a medical emergency? Are you confident that you could provide first aid care and CPR in the event your family and loved ones need it? The Indian Valley Scuba / PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Course teaches you how to provide emergency care for someone in need. We provide First Aid, CPR, and Automatic External Defibrillator Training in a non-stressful environment designed to help you remember and apply emergency care procedures. The course includes knowledge development, skill development, and scenario practice for divers as well as non-divers.
At the completion of the course you will feel confident in your abilities to assist someone in need of emergency care. First Aid and CPR training is required for other PADI certifications including Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor and Master Scuba Diver.
This course is offered as a stand-alone program, or in conjunction with the Indian Valley Scuba / DAN Dive Emergency Management Professional (DEMP) program. See the DAN program listing page for more details on the DEMP program.
