DAN´s Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies Provider Course is designed an an alternative Oygen Provider to the First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries O2 program. There are many similarities between the two courses, with the primary difference being that the focus of this course is more on near drowning and suspected submersion incidents.
This course represents entry level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public in recognizing possible near drowning or submersion inckdent, and being able to provide emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available medical facility.
Succesfull participants in this course will receive DAN certification as an oxygen Provider for Aquatic Emergencies.
