The gang at Indian Valley Scuba dives year round, in all sorts of water - warm, cold, clear, dark, shallow, deep, fresh, salt - just pick your favorite flavor! Last year's trip was great, this one should be even better! Springs, caves, caverns, big cute cuddly mammals - what more can you ask for?   We're heading down for a long weekend, staying on the beautiful Homossassa River, and diving 3 days, starting with diving with the Manatees, exploring Kings Spring & a really cool drift dive down the Rainbow River on Friday, Blue Grotto & Devils Den springs on Saturday, and Ginnie Springs on Sunday.  A perfect opportunity for some cave exploration (for cave certified divers) or to complete your Cavern Diver specialty certification!  Head back home on Monday.  A fantastic weekend of some very different diving, even cheaper than last year's price at only $600 per person! Transportation to & from Homossassa not included.  This trip sold out early in '07, '08, and '09, so reserve your spot today!

There's a hot new wreck in the funkiest town in the Keys, and Indian Valley Scuba is the divers choice to explore it! This three day trip is a perfect warm-up to our Key Largo weekend, or can be a stand-alone adventure. We arrive on Tuesday, staying two nights in our own waterfront condo on Stock Island, next to Key West. Diving starts off Wednesday with a 3-tank trip with Looe Key Divers, starting with the wreck of the Adolphus Busch, and then two reef locations on Looe Key. A hot lunch is available on board, and the boat is a roomy 45 ft. Corinthian catamaran. Wednesday night is a great chance to explore Mallory Square and grab a great meal in town. Thursday we get picked up right at the condo's dock by Florida Straits diving, and run straight out to the Vandenberg, doing a double dip on the wreck, and a third location on an adjacent reef. After the day of diving, the trip officially ends with a drive up to Key Largo to greet the rest of the gang coming down for the weekend at Amoray, or you could head home from there. And now a chance to come over to the Dark Side, and really get immersed in your diving! Join IVS on this tech trip to explore three very cool wrecks located off Key West. This three day trip starts off with two planned deco dives on the Vandenberg (max depth 140 ft) for a warm up. Day two finds us visiting the USS Curb, a former naval salvage tug resting in 185 ft of water. Two planned deco dives are scheduled here also, with lunch ashore for some quality food while off-gassing. And the third day, weather permitting, will find us doing two more dives on the USS Wilkes Barre, a 608 ft. long light cruiser sitting upright at a depth of 250 ft. Great visibility, warm water, and an experienced crew will serve to make this another IVS signature trip, with a technical flavor. Accomodations are in our own waterfront condo on Stock Island, with the boat picking us up each day right at our dockl. Transportation, gear and gases not included. Divers must be qualified to dive at these depths or in training at IVS to qualify for this trip. Join Team IVS as we head down to the land of the Mayans and spend a great long weekend diving some of the most beautiful reefs in the Caribbean in the Straits of Cozumel! Head down early Thursday morning and join us in the water by lunch! This trip includes two days of 2-tank morning and 2-tank afternoon drift dives (total 8 dives) in Cozumel, then a day of cavern diving in two Cenote locations on the mainland! Here’s your opportunity for an entirely different sort of diving, and the chance to actually give something back to one of our favorite reef systems!  This special trip includes two days of coral reef education and live coral restoration work with Ken Nedimyer, founder of the Coral Restoration Foundation.  Ken will treat our citizen-scientists to several informative and educational lectures on the ins & outs of working with live coral, and how the restoration program works.  Then we’ll head out to the reef or the nursery, depending on the current conditions, and work with live coral clippings that will be used to restore damaged sections of the reef system.  How cool it this?  This trip is being run the two days preceeding the ever-popular Memorial Day Key Largo weekend, so you can just stay down and enjoy another 14 or so dives to show off your work to your friends!   This trip is a bargain at $400 per person, and your participation fee includes a donation to support the work of the Coral Restoration Foundation.

Now that the long Canadian winter has finally passed, join us as we invade the Great White North for a quick but serious weekend of technical diving on the St. Lawrence Seaway. Head up Friday night for two days of first class tech diving and be back home Sunday evening!

We'll stay at Caiger's Resort and be diving with our good friend Capt. Wayne Green and his crew. Each day we'll make two technical dives, and the sites we expect to visit include the Jodrey, Sir Robert Peal, Ocanta, and Wallace Gorge. Depths range to nearly 300 ft max, although there is plenty of great technical diving to be enjoyed in the 100 to 200 ft depth range (wait, that's only 30 to 65 meters in Canadian!).

Again divers must meet the qualfications for this expedition, but will be well rewarded with intact historic wrecks, superb early season visibility, and a chance to add some really cool and rarely visited entries into your logbook.

This trip is $600 per person. Fees include diving & lodging. Travel, gear, food and gases are additional.

Ready for an entirely new adventure? Join Team IVS as we head to Key West to take palce in the first annual Wreck Racing League scooter race on the USAFS Vandenberg! Three days of Key West fun and diving, topped off with an all out competitive race around the Vandenberg, pitting team vs team as we try to complete the fastest laps around the biggest wreck in the Keys!

IVS's adaptive scuba professionals will join the International Association for Handicapped Divers as we head to Bonaire a week early, and work with our IAHD-Americas partner Eels on Wheels, providing a week of adaptive diving for members of the Gridiron Heroes, young men who suffered debilitating spinal injuries while playing youth football. This is the Eels on Wheels annual major trip, and we are honored to be asked to be a part of this years event. This is an invitation only, all-volunteer event, and partipating IAHD Pro's must provide their own transportation to Bonaire, plus the trip fee of $1,450, which includes all meals, diving and accomodations. Join us for the tech exploration trip of the year, to the Mecca of northeast wreck diving – the Andrea Doria.  This majestic Italian liner, made famous in the book Shadow Diver, lies in 235 feet of dark, cold water in the North Atlantic.  Heading out on the R. V. Garloo, we’ll be spending three days on the site, with two dives per day.  Only a select group of divers with advanced technical certification and plenty of experience required, as well as Trimix or Rebreather certification, will be considered for this journey.  The cost is $1,200 per person for early sign-ups, $1,500 after May 10th. Price includes lodging on board, air fills, delicious meals & non-alcoholic beverages. All you need to do is get there with your gear and gas! What do you get when you combine North Carolina style diving with the Florida Keys? The Indian Valley Scuba exclusive Wreck Safari, that's what! We have chartered one of Florida Keys Dive Center's 48 ft Newton dive boat for two days, to travel the length of the Keys and back, diving a total of 8 wrecks over two days. We'll stay the first night in a local hotel, then board the boat Monday morning, and begin our journey southward. Wreck sites may include the Spiegel Grove, Bibb, Duane, Eagle, Thunderbolt, Adolphus Busch, Vandenberg, Cayman Salvor, or Joe's Tug, to name a few. We'll overnight in Key West, staying at La Concha hotel right on Duval Street, in the heart of Key West's most famous neighborhood. Evening is on our own as we take in the sights and sounds that make America's southernmost city what it is. Tuesday morning we reboard, and hit four more dive sites as we travel back north. We'll disembark around 7:00 p.m., and for those who are staying to lobster hunt with us, we'll be heading right over to Amoray for the night. Head south with IVS as we join our friends at Discovery Dive Center to explore the wrecks that mark the Graveyard of the Atlantic. U-boats, war sinkings, natural disasters and artificial reefs make for some of the best warm water diving in the east. Each year we typically enjoy balmy 85 degree water and over 100 ft. of visibility every day!  And sharks, sharks & more sharks!!  As usual, this IVS trip includes more than your average North Carolina expedition, with three full days of diving (3 locations on days 1 & 2, and 2 spots on day 3).  Eight great dives, underwater sightseeing, photography, lots of wreck penetration, and spearfishing – what a great combination!  And did we mention sharks?? Time to head back to our favorite dive destination for an unbelievable double whammy of interaction with the corals that make up this fantastic underwater eco-system. This trip is specifically designed for our reef club members who will be attending MACNA over the Labor Day weekend, but it is open to all divers who want to get up close and personal to the reef.

Part 1 of this journey is working with Ken Nedimeyer and the Coral Restoration Foundation as we prepare corals in the nursery for transplant onto the reef system. We may also perform site work on the restoration sites.

Part 2 finds us enjoying the company of Anna and Ned Deloach as they share their expertise during a rare coral spawning period on the reef. Optional guided 2-tank night dives will have us watching baby corals being made right before our eyes! How cool is that to be there for this event?

And finally, we'll manage to get in some dives on some of our favorite wrecks, including the Spiegel Grove, Benwood and more. No better dive value can be found at only $750 per person for this 4-night, 12 dive trip! 

Join us for another Canadian invasion, and enjoy a long weekend of great diving on the wrecks of the St. Lawrence Seaway. This time of the year the water is near 80 degrees and the visibility is phenomenal.  We'll be staying at Caigers Resort in Rockport, and from there it is just a short hop on the boat to our dive sites, located in 60 to 260 ft of water.  We have boats going out to technical and recreational locations, so choose the ones you wish to see! 

And as you have grown to expect, IVS is doing things a little different on this trip. For starters, on Saturday will be a 5-tanker, as we'll dive the Kinghorn, then clear U.S. Customs, and spend the rest of the day in America, diving the Vickery, lunch ashore in A-Bay, then dive the America and Kinghorn wrecks, with a nice night drift dive along Singer island, and cocktails on board as we return. Sunday we'll do a 4-tank trip, diving all Canadian wrecks, eliminating the need for a second border crossing and all the fun that goes along with that. We expect to visit the Daryaw, Muscellunge, enjoy lunch on board, then hit the Gaskins and Lillie Parsons wrecks before apres-dive cocktails and the ride back to the resort.

And on the technical side, are you ready to get down and deep with us? Really down and really deep?? Stay with us on Monday as we head out to dive the Jodrey (140-200 ft) , de-gas with a BBQ lunch ashore, and jump back in for a drift dive along Wallace Gorge ( 170 ft). Join Team IVS for this technical expedition to visit the deeper wrecks of the St. Lawrence Seaway. See what so few have seen since the day these ships sunk. Trimix certification is recommended for this envelope-pushing experience.

Rebreather diving is welcome and encouraged on this trip.  The wrecks are plentiful and most are intact, making for some very cool dives. We have 3 full days of rec & tec diving planned, so there are activities for everyone!  Sign up for the Rebreather Specialty certification course and enjoy your experience in a new, bubble-free fashion!  This trip is $590 per person for the weekend's recreational diving portion, including Saturday & Sunday diving, plus lodging Friday - Monday. Another great trip is planned with our friends at Discovery Dive Center, as we once again explore the Graveyard of the Atlantic. Well we have hit the nail on the head in that department with this new Florida destination - Panama City! Rated as one of the top beaches and seashore communities in America, Panama City offers world class hunting, fishing and diving on over 100 dive sites in the 60 to 100 ft depth range, as well as miles of jetties and rock walls for unlimited shore diving. Our host for this trip will be Choice Charters, one of the best and most experienced operators in the Panama City area. We have two days of 3-tank boat dives planned, along with a third day of diving in two separate Florida spring systems, Vortex Springs and Morrison Springs. Lots of variety, and another laid back trip for a small group. Accomodations are in a three bedroom condo complete with full kitchen and a pool, and we'll enjoy a true southern BBQ dinner one evening prepared by some of the locals! One of the world's wreck diving meccas is Truk Lagoon (also known as Chuuk), where over fifty Japanese naval vessels were sunk during WWII. The U.S.-led Operation Hailstorm
delivered a devastating blow against the Japanese Merchant Fleet. Today, the site of this historic attack holds the distinction of being the world’s finest wreck diving destination. Cargo ships with loaded hulls, intact and penetrable engine rooms, anemone covered decks, and large animals are just part of what makes diving Chuuk Lagoon an experience of a lifetime.The history of these very real wrecks is phenomenal, as is the beauty of the diving there. Our home for the first part of this adventure is the luxury liveaboard Odyssey, perhaps the most experienced operator in Truk.

After our week on board, we'll fly over to the Island of Palau, where we'll bask in the magic of this beautiful isle above and below the surface. We’ll spend a week in paradise exploring the islands and diving vibrant reefs and wrecks where big marine life abounds amongst a dizzying array of colorful reef fish. Swim in Jellyfish Lake, one of the world’s most unique marine environments. Experience the islands’ rich, yet somber, WWII history with an optional visit to Peleliu, site of the infamous Marine Corps battle. Our beachfront hotel is the Palau Sea Passion, and our diving will be with Sam's Tours, the most experienced operator on the island.

Part three of this mid-Pacific journey is Guam, another WWII historic site with evidence left from both sides all over the island and in the nearby waters. We'll have two full days of diving in Guam, plus guided land tours led by some of our own Indian Valley Scuba former Guam residents!
